Little libraries

What if everyone in the world had little libraries outside their houses, by the side of mailboxes? This piece by Heidi highlights the importance of libraries and books that most of us have forgotten. Technology has provided us with several benefits, but these benefits come with a downside that is the lack of interest in reading.

While looking at this print, all I can imagine is a day with a friend or lover, where we sit on a bench which has little libraries by its sides, and we read books and talk about them. Books and nature go hand in hand, as both have a calming effect on the mind. Why don’t we become the readers in the world of internet surfers and find the peace we have lost throughout the years?

“Little libraries” is available for purchase at Ko-fi: Little libraries. In addition, all of Heidi’s prints can be found for purchase at Ko-fi. Please enjoy!
