Build Iowa’s First Buddhist Nunnery
A local buddhist nun, Venerable Hong Yang, is working to build Iowa’s first Buddhist nunnery. I have known her for several years and she is an active member of the community. She gave me the refuge ceremony when I became a Buddhist. I hope to see this built as I think it would be a wonderful resource for the community. The campaign is on Indiegogo for the next 72 days.
